The Australian Goat Report is published fortnightly with trade information on the goat industries. The Australia Goat Report also publishes THE BOOK - Australian Handbook of Angora Goats and Mohair Production (Stapleton and Cunningham 2007) which can be obtained from the site.
Mohair Australia Herd book system offers access to breeder and animal information. You don't have to be a member or have a password to get access to information. This site was developed by Doug Stapleton (in conjunction with Red River Solutions) for Mohair Australia and offers a full on-line recording, pedigree and transfer system to support the breeding industry. It is hoped to add a performance recording section when permitted by the Mohair Australia Board. CSIRO Scour issue. Trish Esson from Cashmere Connections (and RIRDC RNF committee)has set up a blog site to assist with the lobby activity for the retention of the CSIRO scour for small scale fibre processing in Australia.
